Soft Organic Bamboo Hankies - Single Ply

Experience a different kind of hanky! Soft organic interlock (t-shirt) fabric is gentle and absorbent. Unlike a traditional handkerchief, this hanky is wrinkle-free. It's also not a flannel hanky, prone to pilling and stiffness. Try them in any size, but we prefer the little size (7x7) as they are small perfect for single-use. Custom sizes are available, just ask.

Fabric: One layer of 70% bamboo/30% organic cotton interlock
Color: natural
Thread color:  Default is eggshell. For colored edges, type your color choice in the "Edge Color" box.

Why Bamboo?
Bamboo fiber is so soft and silky, it is like a cross between cotton and silk. It is more absorbent than cotton. It also has anti-microbial properties which fight mildew and other germs. It is eco-friendly to grow as you can produce a lot of bamboo quickly in a small area. Unlike conventional cotton, it is not a pesticide hog. What’s not to love?

Stack clean hankies in a basket and toss used ones in the dirty clothes. These hankies are easy to wash, just toss them in with any load. 

Washing instructions: Bamboo is sturdy and able to be washed and dried in hot temperatures. The fabric has been pre-washed and pre-shrunk, but bamboo may continue to shrink a tiny bit more. To avoid more shrinkage, you may want to wash in cool water and tumble-dry medium. Bamboo fabric (like all natural plant fibers) will increase in absorbency after it has been washed 5-10 times to remove the natural oils. Small amounts of bleach may be used when necessary. Choose a scent-free detergent and avoid all fabric softeners and dryer sheets. These chemicals coat absorbent fibers and make your towels and wipes less absorbent. They also pollute the air in your home and neighborhood. Yuck!
